Some responses to my recent article "We Must Say the Course" have been a little disturbing and show a trend among some liberals in the area: using fear as a political weapon. The newest tactic is saying Bush will reinstate the draft if reelected. This is absolute garbage and is based in fear. Bush and the Pentagon have no place for a draft and those that say otherwise are trying to scare students into voting against Bush. If anyone can show me one piece of evidence that the Bush administration is going to reinstate the draft, send it to me.
