A Madison man pleaded guilty to the rape of a University of Wisconsin woman Monday.
The student said she was followed by a man she did not know before he pulled her into a parking lot in the Fahrenbrook Court area on August 20, according to a Wisconsin State Journal article.
Marcus Boone, a 27-year-old man, pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault, the State Journal reported. The charges under the plea were reduced from two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
