The Badgers (12-14-2, 7-13-2 WCHA) have had some time to rest up with a bye week last weekend after they dropped four straight at North Dakota, then at home against St. Cloud State. Sitting in 11th place in the WCHA, Wisconsin plays host to a hot Denver team that has only lost one game in its last nine contests. The Pioneers (17-9-4, 12-6-4 WCHA) are in third place in the conference standings heading into this weekend, but only sit one point behind 2nd place Minnesota-Duluth and two points behind conference leader Minnesota.
