Wisconsin’s Sept. 1 football game at Oregon will be televised nationally by ABC Sports and begin at 7 p.m. CT. It is the season-opener for Oregon and the first road game of the season for the Badgers.
Wisconsin and Oregon faced off last year in Madison, producing one of the most memorable games of the year. Behind Michael Bennett’s 290 rushing yards, the Badgers came from behind for a 27-23 victory. It was one of the Ducks’ two losses in 2000. They ended the year ranked seventh by the Associated Press while Wisconsin was 23rd in the final A.P. poll.
Two other UW start times were announced previously. The Badgers’ season-opener against Virginia will kickoff at 1 p.m. on Fox Sports Net while ABC will televise UW’s trip to Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 13 to face the Ohio State at 2:30 p.m.
