The University of Wisconsin issued a timely warning Saturday following two reports of sexual assault occurring early that morning.
The first incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. and involved a female student who reported being inappropriately touched while exiting an elevator inside a UW residence hall. The suspect was reportedly a six-foot-tall, white male with short brown hair wearing a black sweatshirt with white print and tan pants.
The second incident was reported by a third-hand account of an assault occurring also at a UW residence hall. Details on the subject’s appearance are unavailable.
Students who have any information about the incidents listed above, or any crimes on campus, should call the UW Police Department at 608-264-COPS.
