Madison Police Department responded to reports of a shot fired and one person bleeding on the 200 block of Langdon Street at 11:14 p.m. on Friday.
A preliminary investigation found that a fight had broken out and an 18-year-old victim had been shot, according to the incident report. The victim was transported to a hospital where they were released and another victim was not shot but sustained minor injuries.
Multiple suspects fled after the incident, but MPD and University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department took one 18-year-old suspect into custody, according to the incident report.
