Today, The Badger Herald is joining Badgers far and wide in celebration of the Day of the Badger, an annual campus-wide fundraising event about giving back to the UW community. Join us in celebrating the work of student reporting by providing essential resources to our aspiring journalists. As a fully independent and student-run newspaper, The Badger Herald has led the way for training the next generation of student journalists, providing an invaluable platform for student storytelling.

But, we can’t continue this work without you — with the media landscape rapidly changing and production costs increasing year after year, our newspaper has become fully dependent on donations. Without your sustainable membership, our staff will not have access to the resources they need to create impactful journalism.
