Fearless Sifting links to a letter-to-the-editor written by a retiring professor at UW-Oshkosh. The legislature has been generous in granting raises to chancellors and making tuition free for veterans. The first thing to look out for in the upcoming academic year is Biddy Martin’s effectiveness at fundraising. Her predecessor, John Wiley, was a prodigious fundraiser, and was quoted as saying that UW had raised at least $1 million everyday during his tenure.
