Badger football jumps to No. 11 in polls

Ranked 13th before the season started, the Wisconsin football team [jumped two spots](http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex?seasonYear=2008&weekNumber=2&seasonType=2) in the Associated Press poll and one spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll, where they are now 11th and 12th, respectively. The move up in the polls comes after the Badgers topped Akron in the season opener at home.

Georgia fell out of the top spot of both polls despite a week one win over Georgia Southern. The USC Trojans took over at the top. Ohio State was third in both. Penn State (19th in both) and Illinois (24/25) are the two other Big Ten teams in the top 25 after the opening weekend.
