3:51 – Butch exits with 20 points and 14 rebounds…Badger lead is 11 with 1:49 remaining.

3:45 – Butch has another big dunk and its 61-44 with 3:44. The Red erupt at the timeout.

3:35 – Northwestern hits a layup to cut the lead to 52-38 with 7:48, but its looking like too little too late.

3:30 – Flowers hits a three and the Badgers lead is up to 17 at 50-33 with under ten to play.

3:20 – Make that eight straight. Landry splashes another 3-pointer and its 45-29.

3:19 – Landry has scored five straight and its 42-29 UW with 13:37 left.

3:09 – Butch misses a 39-ft 3-pointer, but UW gets the board and converts it into a Butch and-1.

3:08 – Still verry chippy. Butch just went down hard and came up very upset. He’s got 11 points and 11 boards and the led is now 34-27 with 15:50 left.

2:48 – Wisconsin goes on a 9-0 run to end the half capped with a J-Bo buzzer beater. It’s 29-20 at the break.

2:39 – This game has gotten a little chippy. Brian Butch threw down a dunk and its 22-20 UW with 3:47 left.

2:31 – Northwestern is not quitting. The Wildcats are playing real tough defense and with 7:56 left the Badgers lead is 15-13.

2:21 – NU is making UW work for it now and its 11-9 Badgers with 12 left.

2:13 – Butch has been drawing a lot of contact and he heads to the line for the second time as the Badgers lead 9-5 at the first media timeout.

2:11 – Bohannon’s got a three, NU’s missed a couple of layups, but its 7-5 UW with 16:41 left.

2:05 – Starting lineups have been announced and we’re about to get underway.

1:45 – This place holds about 8,000 fans and I’d say at least 75% of the ones here are wearing red. There isn’t going to me much of a home floor advantage today.
