The University of Wisconsin Madison Police Department arrested 30-year-old Monona resident Coleman Chung in connection with an assault and attempted abduction of a UW-student.
According to an UWPD incident report, Chung is currently a person of interest in this case and is being held at the Dane County Jail on a federal probation warrant.

The incident occurred Oct. 2 near the Sewell Social Sciences building around 1 a.m. The assailant placed the victim in a headlock and forcefully moved her to a parking lot where he proceeded to strike the victim multiple times.
UWPD said charges against Chung are pending, and they expect to refer charges to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office next week.
