INDIANAPOLIS – Welcome to Herald Sports’ live blog of the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game between No. 15 Wisconsin (10-2, 6-2) and No. 13 Michigan State (10-2, 7-1). It’s a rematch of the Oct. 22 meeting in East Lasing, Mich., when the Spartans won, 37-31, on the last play of the game, a 44-yard Hail Mary from quarterback Kirk Cousins to wide receiver Keith Nichol.
Neither team has won in the others’ stadium since 2001, so tonight’s neutral venue of Lucas Oil Stadium should play host to an interesting game between the Badgers and Spartans, two teams who have developed a bit of a rivalry over the past few years.
