It has been five years since Russell Wilson and the University of Wisconsin football team handed No. 8 Nebraska a 48-17 beatdown under the lights at Camp Randall. The Badgers welcomed the Cornhuskers to their new conference with a blowout as Wilson threw two touchdowns and ran for one, while Montee Ball ran for 151 yards and four touchdowns of his own.

That was also the last time the camp’s lights shined down on two Big Ten opponents.

Now — five years later — the Badgers will be playing in prime time twice against a Big Ten opponent as UW will host Ohio State and Nebraska on October 15 and 29, respectively, at 7 p.m.

The announcement comes as part of Monday’s release of ESPN’s prime time schedule for the upcoming season, which means both games will be broadcasted on an ESPN network that will be determined in the future.

Prior to the blowout victory over Nebraska, the Badgers’ most recent prime time Big Ten outing at home was their 31-18 victory over No. 1 Ohio State in 2010, which will go down as one of the most memorable games in Camp Randall’s history. The Buckeyes are expected to once again be among the most highly ranked teams in the country in 2016, setting up for another potential upset opportunity for Wisconsin.

All-time, the Badgers are 12-4 in night games at Camp Randall, with a 6-3 record against Big Ten teams.
