Bullfeathers pub and eatery, located just off of state behind triangle market, offers a not-too-crowded, not-too-boring environment. The atmosphere is that of a college pub right out of the movies — not too clean, not too dirty; with stained glass lights and wood everything. The bar offers the standard pool table, as well as a whole bunch of electronic dartboards. The drinks tend to lean more toward beer and the standard mixes, nothing too fancy. There is a stage, which sometimes plays host to live music, and where you can get your own groove on for Sunday night karaoke. The bar offers a different drink special for every night of the week, my favorite of which is the "box of rocks" — five bottles of Rolling Rock for $6 on Wednesday nights from 8 p.m. until close.
The patrons of Bullfeathers don't seem to fit into any standard stereotype… mostly all students of course, but you may see some older people there too. The prices are better than average and the beer is…well, beer. I didn't try any of the mixed drinks, but none of my friends had anything to complain about, so I assume the mixes are good too. I recommend Bullfeathers as a good place for an easygoing drink earlier in the evening, or to dance all night when there's live music.
