Police investigated reports of shots fired on the 500 block of West Johnson Street early Thursday morning.
According to a Madison Police Department incident report, the incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. when bystanders told police they heard gun shots coming from inside a nearby apartment.
After investigating, MPD concluded that two shots were fired. According to the report, nobody suffered injuries although there was property damage.

The suspects have been identified and detained, according to the report.
