Five Madison residents were victims of a residential burglary Monday night when a robber took advantage of the Badgers basketball game.
According to a Madison Police Department incident report, police were called to the victims’ home on the 400 block of West Dayton Street at 11:20 p.m. The burglar entered through a rear window while the victims – five women aged 21 to 22, were out with friends watching the game.
According to the report, the actual time of the burglary is unknown. Stolen items included some of the victims’ laptops and other electronics.
