Two Madison teenagers were arrested for armed robbery and resisting police Sunday evening, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
According to the report, the two teens, both male and age 15, entered the African Market Beauty Supply store on South Gammon Road wearing ski masks and demanded money. The suspects received an undetermined amount of money after one of them displayed his handgun.
The police were called shortly after the two suspects left the scene. According to the report, police observed the suspects on a nearby road. One was taken into police custody, however the other fled.
According to the report, the second suspect was later found by police hiding in an unlocked vehicle. A K-9 was brought in to assist with the search and found the weapon in question, a BB pistol, as well as ski masks and money from the robbery.
The two suspects were later taken to Juvenile Detention.
