University of Wisconsin Police Department released a crime warning Friday following the report of a sexual assault at the Student Activity Center.
According to the UWPD crime warning, around 6 p.m. March 9, a man approached a male student on the fourth floor of the SAC asking for help. The man then led the student to the men’s restroom where he made sexual advances toward the student.
When the student told him no, the suspect proceeded to inappropriately touch the student’s genitals over his clothing.
Immediately after the incident, the student called 911.
The suspect is described as an Asian male in his 20s. The suspect is about 5’3”, 140 pounds with short black hair and a medium build. According to the report, he was last seen wearing a dark blue A&F hoodie, jeans and white sneakers.
UWPD is currently investigating the incident.
