University of Wisconsin police arrested a UW student for hitting and kicking a police officer at the football game on Saturday.
Abigail Dreps, a 21-year old UW student, resisted arrest and got violent with UW Police officers, UW Police Department spokesperson Marc Lovicott said.
Dreps was intoxicated and became “very combative and violent” when she was approached by officers, Lovicott said. Dreps continued to be violent after she was taken into custody, he said.

Dreps was charged with battery of a police officer and resisting arrest and was booked into Dane County Jail.
