April 1 is Election Day in Madison, where city residents and students alike can cast their votes for county supervisors, circuit judges and a referendum to legalize marijuana in Wisconsin.
District 5 is the only district near campus with a contested race for county board supervisor, which includes current County Board Sup. Leland Pan and opponent Chris Hoffmann.
Registered voters can see a sample ballot on the city government website and can also search ballots by address.
To see where to vote, students can visit the city website and search by address.
Voting begins at 7 a.m., and lasts until 8 p.m. Voters who are in line at 8 p.m. will still be able to cast a vote. Voters can also register at the polls with acceptable proof of residence.
