Madison community members flocked Wisconsin Cheese Curdfest at the spacious Breese Stevens Field Sunday afternoon to experience the taste-testing of delicious curds of all forms.
Considering the underwhelming amount of cheese curd vendors, there was still a wide variety of unique options. This included the desirable and classic “squeaky” curds, greasy deep-fried curds, bacon queso mac n’ cheese curds and even spicy chili Thai curds.
Lines of people waited for their deep-fried favorites.
Other miscellaneous dishes involving curds, such as the Canadian-styled poutine, were also served at the event.
The spicy chili Thai curds from The Rigby gave the perfect tang to warm gooey cheese.
What would a festival be without a petting zoo? This attraction was a popular destination for the many families in attendance.
The event also hosted live music and carnival games and contests for individuals of all ages.
