The University of Wisconsin volleyball team completed a successful day of competition Saturday at the Chicago Spring Challenge.
The Badgers swept Bradley 3-0 and also won two games against Kansas State. Wisconsin split with Michigan State, 1-1, but lost to Louisville 0-2.
“We had a pretty good day and made some good improvement,” UW head coach Pete Waite said. “Overall, it was a good performance for our low numbers. We made a lot of improvements from when we played in Florida (two weeks ago).”
The Badgers were without outside hitter Marian Weidner, who missed the tournament due to mononucleosis.
