Voices of UW: Spitting, laughing at someone is not ‘mature and respectful’

These are not random, isolated events rather they are signs of a chronic issue at UW

A true story:

I was walking to the SAC minding my own business when out of no where, this white man, a middle-aged adult might I add, SPITS on me and tells me to “go back to China.” He was with a group of people and none of them said anything, they just laughed and kept walking past me.

OK SIR AND FRIENDS JUST A FEW THINGS I’D LIKE TO SAY TO YOU:

a) How rude and immature are you to SPIT on someone because of their race
b) Keep your saliva to YOURSELF
c) I’m VIETNAMESE
d) Consider yourself lucky I found the willpower in me to politely ignore your racist comment and walk past you because I am a MATURE and RESPECTFUL human being that doesn’t feel the need to belittle other people for their race or spit on anyone??? (ew)

Okay story over, have a nice day everyone!

Side note:
Immediately after this incident I showered for 10 years.
