Second burglary in one week reported at Mad Seafood Broiler

Madison Police Department responded early Tuesday evening to a burglary at Mad Seafood Broiler.

The suspect entered through the back door of the restaurant and stole an employee’s coat, containing car keys, according an MPD incident report. 

The suspect proceeded to locate the car and stole money from inside. Employees believe the suspect committed a similar crime at the restaurant this past Sunday.

The suspect was captured on a surveillance camera and appears to be either an Asian or Hispanic male between 18-25 years old.

MPD is continuing to search for the suspect and asks anyone with information on his identity to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
