Madison Police Department responded to a call inside the Irish Pub on State Street Tuesday evening.

Bryan P. Smith, 64, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest as well as obstructing an officer after he refused to extinguish his cigarette and created a disturbance inside the restaurant, according to the MPD incident report.

A bartender working inside the Irish Pub stated that the suspect grew angry when asked to put out his cigarette. Smith yelled and showed both of his middle fingers to employees and other customers inside the restaurant.
