The Madison Police Department arrested 25-year-old Dalon Love Wednesday morning on John Nolen Drive for substantial battery and armed robbery.
According to an MPD incident report, the police had probable cause to take the suspect into custody for a drug-related, pistol-whipping that occurred Sunday night at West Gorham Street.
The suspect was accused of hitting a 23 year-old man in the head with a gun and then proceeded to take the victim’s marijuana. The victim needed 20 staples to close the cuts to his head.
