After a 30-minute lockdown, university officials have confirmed there is no threat at Bascom Hill.
Earlier Wednesday morning, there were confirmed reports that a man with a gun was seen at Law Library.

According to a University of Wisconsin Police Department WiscAlert, officers were present on the scene and locked down the area.

UWPD had blocked off the area and asked everyone to avoid Bascom Hill. University officials said it is now safe to resume normal operations.
