University of Wisconsin faculty will review the Wisconsin School of Business proposal to suspend admission to their full-time Masters of Business Administration program for one year.

Students currently enrolled in the full-time MBA program or any other WSB program will not be affected by the proposed plans.

Under the university governance procedures, the proposal must first be reviewed by the WSB Master’s Curriculum Committee, then sent to the Academic Planning Council and finally to WSB faculty.

WSB plans to maintain transparency over this process by including key stakeholders — including faculty, staff, alumni, donors, etc. — involved in the conversation moving forward.

No decision has been made regarding the full-time MBA program thus far.
