Officers arrested a man Wednesday morning after there was something fishy in his pants at Fresh Market.

Store managers informed officers that they had witnessed the man taking servings of sushi from the sushi counter. An employee reported hearing the rustling sound of plastic as the suspect left the store.

Condiments, raw fish and bags of candy spilled out of the man’s garments as police apprehended the suspect. The suspect, age 20, told officers he was homeless and had taken the food to have something to eat.

Police booked the individual for an outstanding warrant.
