Man stabs two teens at West Transfer Point

A man stabbed two high school students Tuesday night at West Transfer Point.

According to the Madison Police Department incident report:

Several high school students were riding a bus to the West Transfer Point Tuesday night after a West High School basketball game.

Two females on the bus engaged in an altercation, both verbal and physical. The suspect stepped in to stop the fight.

At the West Transfer Point, the high school students confronted the suspect, then one of the male students attacked the suspect.

The suspect produced an edged weapon and used it to stab two of the students, one male and one female. Both victims were transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40 years old, dressed in a dark sweater and blue jeans. The suspect is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
