Construction began earlier this month on The James, formally known as the Hub II.
The second project from Chicago-based developer Core Campus gets its new name in honor of former U.S. President James Madison, Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4, said in previous Badger Herald coverage. James Madison is also the city of Madison’s namesake.
Second Hub dubbed ‘The James,’ construction to start this fall
The James will offer a wider range of housing options, hoping to appeal to undergraduates, graduate students and young professionals, Verveer said.
