The victim told UWPD officers that the male assaulted her, Lovicott said.

The victim said she was walking when the male punched her in the head and ran off, Lovicott said. She ran after the man, knocked him to the ground and called the police.

After UWPD arrived on the scene they arrested the suspect, Lovicott said.

UWPD has completed their investigation and will refer charges to the district attorney’s office, Lovicott said.
