A 23-year-old Lake Geneva woman was sexually assaulted near Kollege Klub Bar around 1:40 a.m Sunday morning, according to a City of Madison Police Department incident report.
According to the report, the suspect grabbed the victim in an alley in the 500 block of of N. Lake Street shortly before bar time. The victim received minor injuries due to the assault, the report said.
Madison City Police spokesperson Daryl Doberstein said the victim was visiting friends in Madison for the weekend and is not a University of Wisconsin student.
Investigators estimate the suspect to be 22 to 25 years old, around 6 to 6’2″ tall with a muscular build and brown hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark gray V-neck sweater, the report said.
Doberstein said the suspect is still at large.
“We’ve got detectives who were working on it earlier today,” Doberstein said.
