A suspect is in custody following accusations of sexual assault on a Madison Metro bus.
A 16-year-old female Madison resident reported being sexually assaulted while riding the bus on West Badger Road on March 11, according to a Madison Police Department statement. The victim told police a teenager she did not know sexually touched and kissed her after he sat down next to her.
Using information from the victim and reviews of bus surveillance video, Demone Haynes, a 17-year-old Madison resident, was arrested for second degree sexual assault/fondling.
