Protesters rallied quickly upon hearing that the Wisconsin Senate–still
absent all 14 its democratic senators–voted to end collective
bargaining rights for public unions. Senate Republican supposedly
removed all fiscal aspects of the bill, rendering it passable without a
quorum of at least 20 senators.
