As reported by the [Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel](http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=708599), UW head football coach Bret Bielema made two coaching promotions today, as Dave Doeren and Bob Bostad have moved up in the coaching ranks following the departures of Mike Hankwitz and Bob Palcic.

Doeren, who served as co-defensive coordinator the past two seasons, will now take over for Hankwitz as defensive coordinator. Bostad has been the team’s tight ends coach, will now coach the offensive line.
