In photos: Brasstracks blends modern, classic sounds at Union South

Fresh off the release of their Good Love EP, artists played to an energetic, yet small crowd

The illuminating sound of trumpet and energetic drums filled The Sett as the duo Brasstracks arrived onstage. The group is touring with names such as GRiZ, Pretty Lights and Jack Garrat this fall.

Though they might not have the widest name recognition, they are the producers behind Chance the Rapper’s summer hit single “No Problem.”

The show continued with the group playing songs from their new EP and crowd-pleasing covers of popular songs. The group kicked it up a notch when the third member came onstage to rap along with the drums and trumpet.

The crowd reacted well considering the intimate and casual show was perfectly timed for post-midterm relaxation.
