Though Georgia State may be our opponents in football this weekend, their home city of Atlanta is pretty damn good at making rap music.

A-town has been holding it down in rap for a while now. It’s the birthplace of Outkast, the duo of Andre 3000 and Big Boi that ushered in the golden age of Southern rap. Check out the best of what’s old and new in Atlanta hip-hop in this week’s Hitlist, and let us know what we missed in the comments.
