‘Alright, Still’ is a great album, and perhaps greater description of all the over-heating Badgers on campus.

The semester may just be beginning, but that doesn’t mean summer is dead. These songs capture the essence of a kick-ass summer, without the awkward summer fling drama or sunburn.

This mix has everything from Japanese women singing 1950s rock ‘n’ roll (“Woo Hoo”) to trippy jams (“Ice Cream”), and even some late ‘90s summertime rap (“The Rain”). Lily Allen’s 2006 jam, “LDN” and St. Etienne’s “Nothing Can Stop Us,” are so marvelously British. Don’t skip them! Track 9 will hit you right in the feels, but the next track closes the mix on a chill, reggae note.

1. Lily Allen – “LDN”
