Student Council is the main legislative body of the Associated Students of Madison. It is responsible for approving all budgets passed through ASM as well as appoint it's members to the other ASM bodies and signing off on ASM's initiatives.
Organization
Student Council members are elected by two votes: one at the beginning of the fall semester to elected three freshman representatives and one in the spring to elect the remaining 30 representatives for the next year.
