Madison police arrested a teenager in connection to a shooting on West Washington Avenue last month.
Michael “Mikey” Thomas likely faces a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide, according to Madison police public information officer Joel DeSpain.
Thomas allegedly shot a 19-year-old Madison man outside the Mental Health Center of Dane County around 6 p.m. on April 30.
At the time, Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4, said the act was not random and police knew who their suspect was.
Additional details will be released when the District Attorney’s office formally files charges.
