WHITEWATER, Wis. (AP) — No one was seriously hurt when a boiler exploded in the heating plant at UW-Whitewater.
Campus spokeswoman Sara Kuhl says emergency response teams are assessing the damage and trying to determine what caused the boiler to explode Wednesday about noon.
The heating plant is on the north end of the Whitewater campus.
Kuhl says the incident shouldn’t disrupt classes.
