MILWAUKEE (AP) — Republican presidential candidate John McCain is planning a visit to Milwaukee on Wednesday. The
Arizona senator plans to stop at heavy-duty mining equipment maker
Bucyrus International to take part in two discussion panels with
business leaders about the economy. Wisconsin Republican Party
spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski says details are being worked out but no
other stops in the state are planned. She said Monday that the
trip is timed to follow up on an economic speech McCain plans to give
on Tuesday at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. The stop is McCain’s first in Wisconsin since he clinched the party’s nomination for president.
