The University of Wisconsin revealed plans Thursday for a memorial vigil for UW junior Brittany Zimmermann, who was killed in her Doty St. home Wednesday.
The vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Sunday on Library Mall. Dean of Students Lori Berquam and representatives from Associated Students of Madison, the Wisconsin Union Directorate and Union Council will lead the ceremony.
In the case of rain, the event will be the Memorial Union’s Great Hall.
Plans for the event include music and opportunities to write messages to Zimmermann’s family.
