The state Assembly has passed a resolution honoring former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
The resolution commends Favre for becoming the NFL’s all-time leader in passing touchdowns, completions, attempts and victories by a quarterback.
It also honors Favre for winning the league MVP award a record three times and his charity work through the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation.
Favre announced his retirement from the NFL and the Green Bay Packers last week.
The Assembly passed the resolution unanimously on a voice vote Tuesday. Favre didn’t attend the proceeding.
