University of Wisconsin officials announced this morning all classes in Van Vleck hall are canceled today due to a power outage.
The outage began this morning and according to a UW statement “triggered some sporadic technology network problems.”
The power was out for a period in Chadbourne and Barnard residential halls as well.
Students are asked to stay out of Van Vleck Hall and faculty should contact their department heads for more information.
All other classes on the UW campus remain in session today.
