Officials closed the doors of the Kohl Center just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night in preparation for Sen. Barack Obama’s visit.
For basketball games, the Kohl Center holds about 17,000 people.
As of 7:35, Obama had not taken the stage yet but could claim a victory in Tuesday’s Virginia primary.
See Wednesday’s Badger Herald for full coverage of Obama’s event, including a photo essay.
