With about a foot of snow on the ground in Madison right now, another 3-5 inches tonight should push this year’s snowfall past the seasonal record for the city.
So far this winter, 73.3 inches of snow has hit the ground and snow tonight and tomorrow should push Madison past the 76.1-inch record.
According to the National Weather Service, a Snow Advisory will be in effect from 6:00 p.m. tonight until noon tomorrow. Light, fluffy snow will fall throughout that period.
