Members of the city’s 13th district met Wednesday night to discuss the Madison’s first apparent homicide of the year.
Earlier Wednesday, police revealed they found the weapon allegedly used in the killing of Joel Marino, 31, near his West Shore Drive home just south of the University of Wisconsin campus.
Also found at the scene were a white, knit hat with a UW logo and a gray Puma backpack.
According to police records, Marino was stabbed possibly inside his home near the 700 block of S. Park Street Monday afternoon.
Read tomorrow morning’s Badger Herald for more on the community meeting.
