According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wisconsin quarterback John Stocco is not expected to practice this week or play in Saturday's game against Iowa.
The article, citing an unnamed source, reported Stocco's throwing arm has been in a sling since at least Sunday.
Stocco injured his right shoulder in last weekend's game against Penn State, forcing him to sit out the last two series of the 13-3 victory.
Junior backup Tyler Donovan relieved him, completing one pass on one attempt for two yards, and is expected to make his first collegiate start Saturday in Stocco's place.
While Donovan hasn't played a great deal during his Badger career — seeing action in only 11 games the last three years — head coach Bret Bielema is confident in the backup quarterback.
"He understands," Bielema said at his Monday press conference. "He signals every play in. He goes through the course of the week as a starter from the sidelines and then gets his certain opportunities with it, too."

All you folks who are going to Iowa better be ready to yell, scream, cheat, and potentially kill in order to scratch and claw for a W on Saturday. We're all going to have to do our part this week..
